• History

Casa da Cortinha is an Eighteenth Century house. It belonged once to a wealthy family from Guisande, in Santa Maria da Feira.

It was part of a huge agricultural property consisting of the Mother House, which was the main house, the Inside Caretakers’ House, where the caretakers who supported the main house lived, and the Outside Caretakers’ House, with storage for the collection of the Town milk as well as for all the agricultural material.

The Outside Caretakers’ House is today the Casa da Cortinha.

The 15 minutes that separate this exclusive country house from the city of Oporto make it possible to live among the serenity of Nature while also enjoying the cosmopolitan life of a big city.

It is a space prepared for tourism where the richness, quality and comfort are key words.
